Head of SEO - Digital Agency in Newcastle, UK

Duties
– Within my role as Head of SEO I was working for clients as part of an agency to optimise, manage and develop their online marketing strategies via Search Engine Optimisation. I actively managed their internal training and personal development plans while also sourcing innovative SEO strategies and implementing these across the department. I worked with the Campaign Management team and Affiliate networks to ensure ROI targets were met. I presented reports periodically to clients on the performance of campaigns in order to maintain client relationships and advised on online advertising re-investment. I implemented and managed PPC campaigns as well as running SEO analysis and recommendations for review by the client and implementation by the development team. I wrote client specification documents for the development and design team to implement and overseen these projects. I compiled client briefs after liaising with them to establish expectations and KPI’s. I wrote and delivered training documentation and provided systems training where needed both internally and externally. Duties – Part of my role was the project management of new client’s websites and their SEO marketing campaigns (mainly small to medium enterprises). I was also involved in designing and creating websites and implementing SEO strategies. I also implemented and managed Pay Per Click campaigns for clients. I worked with the Sales Development Manager and Managing Director to ensure projects ran on time and within budget and followed client specification.
